No Problems

The Cubs were a different team last night as they took out the Mets 10 -1. Zambrano pitched 8 innings struck out 3 but only allowed 1 run. Since Lou had him change his delivery Zambrano may have caught on to something. Strike outs are nice but getting out of innings are even nicer. Z’s approach also allowed him to extend into 8 innings and keep his pitch count down. That gave the bull pen some rest for the night.

Aramis helped Zambrano by jacking a grand slam in the 6th inning to the upper deck. That was one hit that deserved the watch by Ramirez. Most pitchers are offended by hitters watching there home runs but this one was worth it.

Hopefully Lou can keep this team in the same rhythm and they will win more game. The run production was outstanding as well. If the Cubs can keep this up through out the rest of the season they will easily find them selves in the play offs at the end of the year. Make sure you watch the highlights because it may not happen again.
