2 Runs 9 Hits 1 error and a loss

Rich Hill carried on Zambrano's nature by striking out 7 walking 3 and giving up 5 runs only to lose 7 - 2. Soriano and Ramirez are the only ones that seem willing to try and do anything for this ball club any more. They both hit home runs but the timing didn't include any runners on base. If there is one thing you can see in this ball club it is that they know how to lose. They had a 5 game win streak against two of the worst teams in baseball then they turned it around and started to lose against one of them.

There is a whole lot missing from the Cubs and it seems like every time we see Zambrano it reminds us that we are losers. I don't know if things can change for this team. I just know that the swagger and the chemistry are not there. Nothing is working. This team has some of the greatest ball players but no one is proving  it.

Don't bother with today's game either because Garcia has an undefeated record against the Cubs and the Cubs will probably be shut out of this one. It will just be more embarrassing because it will be on FOX so everyone will get to see it.

What is good? The entire National league central division lost yesterday. Milwaukee lost, Houston lost, Pittsburgh lost, St. Louis lost and the Reds lost. This is just proof that the Cubs can not capitalize. I know everyone will say it is too early to be making statements like that. The truth is if they don't start playing like a winning ball club they will not make it. A winning ball club wins the series. Each series is practice for the big series. The Cubs have put them selves into a good spot to where they have a chance to contend for the National League title again. The central division sucks so far, so doing so shouldn't be that hard. The only problem is they have to prove it to the other divisions. The Cubs have had some easy breaks for the last two weeks but they haven't capitalized on them. The Brewers suck but they have capitalized on the breaks that is why they are in first place.
