Sweep!!

The Cubs Sweep the Nationals!! This was a game that was not looking good for the Cubs but they put every thing on the line to sweep the Nationals in 10 innings.

Angel Guzman came in to be the 5th starter of the rotation. He is not Roger Clemens but he came in and pitched 5 innings struck out three, walked only 2 and one costing him a run. The bull pen came in and gave up two more runs but put a stop to any offense.

The Cubs were down 3 -2 in the 9th and Lou pulled everything out to get runners on base to get the win. Daryl Ward helped tie the game in the 9th and Daryl Ward got the key hit to win this one in the 10th inning.

This was a tough game for the Cubs and the bull pen but the win is worth it especially since they have tomorrow off. The Cubs will have to get back to making key hits when runners are in scoring position. The Pirates have been struggling but they are no push over. This momentum will need to carry in order for the Cubs to beat the tougher teams. Highlights
