Rich Hill did not pitch very well in
this game. If the Cubs played the Brewers they would have got hammered.
Hill pitched 6 innings gave up a run and struck out 4. There were a lot of
fly balls that could have gone out if the wind was blowing out or not
blowing at all. The hitting only earned the Cubs two runs. The rest came
from walks with the bases loaded. The Cubs should have lost this game 3 -2
if it wasn't for the Nationals having bad pitching and an umpire that only
favored strikes for the Cubs. "I know a win is win but this game
seemed a bit unbalanced and sloppy. You it's bad when a fan makes the

A sloppy win

The Cubs did not play today's game at the best of there
ability. Although there was some good hits and some good plays this looked
a lot like a loss. The Cubs came away with a 5 - 3 win but left to many men
on base and didn't pitch as good as they have before. This game was a
matter of who is going to lose not who is going to win.
Angel Guzman is on tomorrow so a definite loss would be in
order tomorrow. Then again if the Nationals keep stinking the league up
with there 9 and 21 record the Cubs could pull out another weak win like
today.
