This one was kind of expected when Sunday’s game was cancelled.
Rich Hill was able to pitch 7 innings, striking out 6, walking
one and only giving up two runs. The Cubs did not lose this game in the
pitching department. They lost in the batting department 3 - 2. It is expected that they will have days like this where the
runs may just not come in. The problem is that the Cubs have lost too many
games because of sleepy bats. Hopefully this ball club will wake up and
start hitting the ball for runs and they will start winning these short
ended games. Looking at the standings; it is like a complete reversal of
