Cubs Win !!!

Jason Marquis took to
the mound against his old team and pitch 7 innings, struck out 5, walk no
one and allowed no runs. This is the Jason Marquis that the Cubs were
wanting when they signed him. He has had a rough time in the past but now
he seems to be making a turn for the better.
The Cubs ran away with
this one scoring six runs. Three of the runs came off of Michael
Barrett's three run home run in the 1st inning. Ronny Cedeno also
made a solid swing at a good pitch and made it go out of the park. That
home run came in the 7th inning and is his second of the year. Cedeno has
come through at times but he is still striking out a lot. Today he was two
for three but I think the batters were able to adjust to the Cardinal
pitching.
Hopefully they can carry
this momentum into tomorrow for another win and get them moved up the
standings. Tomorrow will be up to Wade Miller who has had a rough April but
has the stuff to make the grade.
