Another Big L for the Cub fans

"The guys we have, I feel when we go out there, it's going to be a tough day for the other guy," Cubs outfielder Cliff Floyd said

The Cubs have entered rock bottom. Last place is just a reminder. That is were you end up if you don’t win ball games. At this point in the season it is too early to say that the Cubs built the ultimate team.

We as Cub fans will be angry by many things and expect a whole lot more from this team. The one thing that all the ball players can count on is that we will return back to Wrigley Field even if it means watching them lose. We are used to it and we expect it. I don’t need to speculate over today’s game or even get angry about it. The Cubs are a $300 million team and they will have to live with losing for the first time. We have seen many come and go and we have seen the Cubs get close. I have to give them a lot of credit because if this season ends like seasons before it will only mean one thing. It is not about how much money you spend on a team.

Who knows this may be the best team in baseball today. The problem may be in the club house it may be in the spirit of winning. It may be in fundamentals. What ever it is (Cold weather, errors, bats, pitching) it needs to be addressed. Last season April was the best month. Derek Lee went down and we thought D. Lee is just one man. We can still do this. The All Star break came and then we were just counting days to when the torture would end. The moral is that if these things don’t get fixed now the All Star break will be here soon and the end of the season is just around the corner.

I know it is early but 30 or 31 days goes real quick when you play baseball.
