Cubs lose before going home

The Cubs Wade Miller is struggling to get back into the game as he gave up 6 runs and 9 hits in 4 innings. The Cubs were able to pull with in 2 runs as they brought the score to a 6 to 4 game. Scott Eyre and fielding mistakes at the end of the game took away any hope as the Cubs gave up 3 more runs. The Cubs went on to lose 9 – 4 as they make their trip home to take on the Houston Astros.
