Bats are heating up but the pitching is still
struggling

Derrek Lee went 2 for 4
the other day with an RBI single and a 2 run double. Jacque Jones hit a two
run home run to tie the game. Daryle Ward hit a 2
out RBI single and also hit a grand slam in the ninth to give the Cubs the
win.
Mark Prior will make a
return to the Cactus League to see if he can make the roster. He was sent
down to the Minor Leagues to work on his mechanics. Hopefully all the
pieces will start fitting together. Zambrano,
Lilly, Miller, Marque and Hill seem to be ready but they all need to get
some more innings in. The bullpen is looking good except for a few kinks.
If the pitching starts making the turn for the right direction the Cubs
should get off to a good start this season.
